As a gay man, my opinion of a lipstick lesbian may differ from that of a true lesbian...if I say the wrong thing, ladies, I apologize.


To me, a lipstick lesbian is a lesbian who ';passes'; as a straight girl. Long, styled hair, wears make-up, wears fashionable clothes, carries a purse, knows how to flirt and tease to get her way from men or women.


Looking at celebrities, kd lang is a soft butch, Rosie ODonnell is butch, and a lipstick lesbian would look like Paris Hilton. Get the picture?
