You've got it right - they are nothing but labels. Useless, ignorant labels. Why do we make a big fuss out sexual orientation ??? gay, straight, lesbian, lipstick butch blah blah !!??
because people like to label others. its stupid really, and i dont see why it has to affect us so much. ( marriage, jobs, equal rights, college acceptance, family acceptance, etc) it doesnt matter if you fall in love with a man or a woman, what people should focus on is how good you treat your lover and realize that there really isnt much difference between gay relationships and straight ones.
the best way to stay out of all of this ';confusion'; is to NOT LABEL YOURSELF. after all, how does anyone know what they are? a man could call himself straight and then fall in love with his next door neigbor. we only know what we are now, we dont know whats going to happen in the future and if things will change a little. so just dont follow any of them. just be yourself and whatever happens, happens. Why do we make a big fuss out sexual orientation ??? gay, straight, lesbian, lipstick butch blah blah !!??
cause we eat throught the MOUTH and **** through the ****.
We always seem to compartmentalize people and things to death. It's the fear of the unknown I think. Because people always seem to feel happier and more certain after they ';figure you out';.
I pick answer D
none of the above.Love life avoid the bumps
I wonder what happened to jeremy_o response,busted?
because some people alwayz want to belong to something or some group to make them feel like they are not alone or said i say not the only one
i take it you're gay
I think it's because labelling is something the brain does automatically to make sense of data that might seem frightening if one doesn't have a ';handle'; on it.
It works the same way with movies: we identify them as ';romantic comedy';, or ';sci-fi thriller';, or ';junkie fest';, we need some kind of DEFINITION and then proceed to make judgements out of them. Not the best way to go about it, whether in sexual orientation or in movies.
