Whats a lipstick lesbian and a femme lesbian? whats the difference?

as far as i'm aware a lipstick lesbian is a lesbian who is very feminine and really celebrates her femininity - i.e. she loves shopping, cosmetics, fashion etc., whereas a femme lesbian is just feminine - not butch, but not quite as girly as a lipstick lesbian.Whats a lipstick lesbian and a femme lesbian? whats the difference?
Pretty much the same, one is just a Lil more girly than the other..ie lipstick lesbian, but most of the time u would not be able to tell which one holds her self with which title. that is all it is is a title amongst the community..Whats a lipstick lesbian and a femme lesbian? whats the difference?

Actually, there is no difference in ';lipstick'; or ';femme'; lesbians. The terms are only used to describe a more feminine lesbian, because she wears makeup, and acts girly. A ';butch'; lesbian is a lesbian who doesn't usually wear makeup and who doesn't act girly. However, the terms are really pointless. There are no ';types'; of lesbians.
Aren't they the same thing?
