We've heard of ';lipstick lesbians.'; Is there a name for butch lesbians who dress like boys?

There's a particular look these lesbians adopt: boy's short haircut, jeans and a striped polo shirt. About 90% of the ones I've seen are chunky. I've asked my lesbian friends, and they either don't know or just say it's butch. But I figure there has to be a name for the look. I've also heard the terms ';andro'; or ';stud';.
Generally its called ';butch'; but i suppose you could call it what ever you want. I'm a lipstick lesbian as i like ware all the makeup and girly clothes. but i would call a lesbian that dressed up like you said is called ';butch';.

don't know about the striped polo shirt thing...haven't seen that. and some are chunky, some are not. most of them are Hot.

bull dyke is just a rude term for a very masculine lesbian as far as i know. the only ones i know of who use that particular term are those who feel threatened by these women. the dummies.
Sexy *** hell!!!! At least that is what I call them, but where I am from they are called studs/butch. Now it depends on the person. Most white women who are not feminine call themselves butch and the black or latino are studs.





My girlfriend is a stud and she is anything but chunky. She is very athletic and in excellent shape.
